The doors of Centurion Cricket Company first opened at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium in February 2013….It was the very first day of South Africa vs Pakistan Test Match. Two weeks before the Test, the stadium management kindly agreed to allow us to start a shop on the 'proviso' that we would be willing to trade on the first day of the Test. As you can imagine, this led to a frantic two weeks…painters, shop fitting, signage, stock, staff, all of this and more had to be accounted for in just two short weeks!! Today we stand very proud of our SuperSport Park Shop and have to thank the Titans CEO and management for all their help along the way, their support and encouragement is hugely appreciated. Since that day in February 2013, we have been fortunate enough to add a Brooklyn branch, Rustenburg Branch & just recently a Krugersdorp Branch to the portfolio.

All of the above is only part of the story, our humble beginnings actually started in Alberton in 2003 when two guys (One from Alberton and one from England) started playing cricket together and discussing 'Plans' to open a cricket shop. This actually became a reality in November 2005 when 'Bradmans Cricket' was born, a small shop in Alberton Cricket Club which started with only about 10 bats and a few balls!!! Over the years we were extremely well supported by the local community and the shop became a popular 'Destination' shop. People driving from as far and wide as Zeerust and Bloemfontein to visit. Although proud of what we had achieved, it was time to broaden our horizons.

At that point 'Marius Delport' entered the frame and suggested we pursue the Centurion Stadium Shop, and so 'Centurion Cricket Company' was born at SuperSport Park. Since then, Bradmans Cricket has also followed in the same footsteps and changed their name to Cricket Company. Also opening a branch at The Wanderers Cricket Stadium.

We fully realise business in the current economic climate is not easy and every customer must be valued, not taken for granted. After all, our customers are not reliant on us, we are reliant on them!! We must appreciate every opportunity they allow us to serve them. By adopting these values we hope we can continue to evolve and grow throughout the cricketing community in SA.
